3 Tips for Gift Giving for Guys

1. When you hear them say something they’d like or they drop a hint… start a list or a note on your phone! Then you plan ahead and don’t have to count on your memory to save you when the time comes.
2. Don’t buy them cheap cloths, socks or underwear. Move over ladies, a new diva is in town. They are pickier than they act. Splurge on high quality digs, because although they will appreciate it, they may not buy it themselves.
3. When in doubt, book an experience. Men prefer memories over materials!

2018 Ultimate Gift Guide for Guys

1. Thorlo, wigwam or stance brand socks. High quality socks!
2. Buck naked, Calvin Klein or Exofficio men’s underwear. Recommended by the men in our lives
3. Briefcase, overnight toiletry carrier, tie organizer or duffle bag. Depending on their profession, choose an appropriate gift that suits his goals!
4. Grab an as seen on TV gift. They are always fun, funny, budget-friendly, or legitimately efficient! There is sure to be one that will meet one of these 4 criteria.
5. Home-made gifts. While this won’t be all men’s favorite gifts, it’s definitely a proud pleaser for dads. Get a photo printed, make some art or personalize something to make it extra special.
6. Electronics are a must. It’s 2018 and we are all connected to our phones. Even our dad’s enjoyed the portable phone charges we grabbed for them. If you want to take your gifts to the next level, upgrade their cell phone and tack on some wireless ear buds for travel or working out. (Check out our last blog for a recommendation. There is a female version, but this same brand has stuff for guys too.)
7. Patagonia vests, hats, socks and outdoor wear. This brand is sure to impress the dudes, from the guys-guy to the super hip millennial in your life!
8. Unique finds like the soda stream, an over abundance of his favorite food and snack (yes, take it to another level like a human size box full of snack size jalapeño chips), or a vintage nintendo
9. A toilet seat (with slow, auto closing lid). Some people are practical. Let’s be honest, we all use toilet seats and an upgrade isn’t something we’d buy ourselves.
10. Hungry kits off Amazon! Well, you are welcome. Our job here is done!

Not on a budget? Go all out with these fun ideas!

1. Weekend get-a-way to watch his favorite sport team or band play! Squeeze in some historic stops, good eats and a few romantic touches. He won’t be able to stop smiling because his boss babe made for great memories!
2. Get a go pro or a drone! These adult remote control gadgets are sure to win over the man in your life, especially when he can show off to his friends!
3. Gift an experience. We recommend Top Golf (include golf balls, t’s and a hat), Axe Throwing (booze and dinner gift card), or concert tickets (include some band memorabilia). Anything you can make memories doing together and you also get the perk of going, it’s a win-win.
